While Curran Wealth Management received awards in 24 different categories (including seven Top 5 finishes) for the awards quarter ending 3/31/2024, we want to highlight 2 awards in particular.
US Large Cap Growth & Value
The Growth & Value universe encompasses two pillars that make up the bulk of US investors’ equity exposure. Growth stocks, those that are anticipated to grow at a rate significantly higher than the market average, and Value stocks, those that investors feel are trading below their value and typically pay a substantial dividend.
20 Quarters (5 Years) Ending 3/31/2024 – Curran’s Core Growth Equity portfolio ranked 1st in a universe of 93 managed funds for the 5-year period with a rate of return (RoR) of 17.31%*. The average RoR for the funds in this category was 13.77%, while the S&P 500 Index (the index to which this category is benchmarked and measured against) returned 13.02%.
US Midcap Equity
The Midcap universe is made up of stocks believed to be in the middle of their growth curve, typically with a market value between $2 billion and $25 billion and includes all Midcap investment strategies regardless of their investment style. These strategies are often used to provide growth, diversification, and balance.
40 Quarters (10 Years) Ending 3/31/2024 - Curran’s Midcap Core Growth Equity portfolio ranked 2nd in a universe of 57 managed funds for the 10-year period with a rate of return (RoR) of 13.11%*. The average RoR for the funds in this category was 10.54%, while the Russell Midcap (the index to which this category is benchmarked and measured against) returned 9.40%.
